Technical Difficulties

Hello all!! By now you are all brimming with desire to hear about all the exciting adventures I had on Sunday. Unfortunately, body was experiencing sudden unexpected downtime of the sort that travelers in foreign countries often get. Let's not get into details on that now shall we? Since I kept on a pretty short leash on Sunday I didn't have to tell.

I don't have any new pictures, I will try and get some tomorrow. The dude with the wardrobe one of my previous posts is Sai Babba an Indian Holy man. You notice he was wearing a reddish cloak but today he was in a sliver and green brocade. I hear that is what all the well dressed statues will be wearing this season. He is the neighborhood fashionista.

On with my observations, one thing I have noticed about the people here is that they are very concerned about food. The first question they ask you is "How do you enjoy Indian food?" "What kind of food do you cook at home?", Etc. Only after about 5-10 questions about food and my taste for Indian food do they every ask how I like their country. I have quite figured out if they are waiting for me to run screaming from eating the food or planning to feed you something insane. They are very nice. They constantly are handing me things to eat with names I can't pronounce.

Thus far I find the food quite good. It is very rich in spices, Indian Cooking Motto: Why use one spice when you can use 50? I am finding the flavor is strong enough you don't need to eat very much of anything... maybe I will lose weight!!!

Ha Ha.. no because I discovered the joys of Mugen this week. A lovely oriental restaurant that serves Chinese, Thai and Indonesian food. I love their crispy lemon chicken and their sesame noodles. Unfortunately, if I eat there very often they may need to rename the restaurant MooJenn. Well that is all for now. I have heard of a tour company that can take you around Bangalore and show you the sites. I think I may check them out!

Oh and a bit of a house keeping note. I know the slideshow on the sidepar cuts the photos off. Double click on it and it will open the Photobucet album I am keeping the photos in. You can see them at your leisure.
